Melbourne is regarded as the dining capital of Australia. Throughout the city & suburbs you will find every type of cuisine satisfying Melburnians' passion for food.

From cool cafes, hidden in laneways all around the city, to Crown Casino’s fiery river bank restaurants. Melbourne has it all, here are a few starters, then it’s up to you to explore…

ST KILDA

St Kilda Tourism Association Official Website will update you on all the hot spots to enjoy a seriously fun time by the bay. Fitzroy St offers many pubs and clubs but also check out the asian restaurants, vegetarian meals, pizza parlours and chipperys . Not your style? Then get to Acland Street where you will find Veludo, La Roche or The Vineyard to name just a few. For a unique experience visit The Kiosk at Little Blue Restaurant at the end of the famous St Kilda Pier. You may even see the penguins at sunset. Make sure you stop off at one of the many European cake shops that Acland Street is famous for, cake and coffee like no other!!

MELBOURNE CBD

Crown Casino has a lot to offer at loads of prices ranges to suit the individual. If you’re a little more low key, check out the laneways in-between Swanston and Elizabeth St for more tiny cafés than you can poke a stick at. Little Bourke St is known as China Town and is a shining beacon to those who love authentic Asian food.

RICHMOND

Victoria St is a world of its own! Set against the old suburb of Richmond, there are myriads of Vietnamese, Thai, Indian and Chinese restaurants that will have your heart palpitating with delight. Real bargain prices can be found for truly authentic meals, definitely well worth checking out this inner city suburb.

CARLTON

Lygon St is considered Melbourne's Italian precinct and it certainly is not to be missed. A street lined with pizza and pasta restaurants, the hardest task you have is which restaurant to choose!
